Lead Based Paint
Satori Group, Inc. is a certified EPA Lead Based Paint (LBP) Firm. Using Niton XRF technology, we offer a full range of LBP services to meet our client needs.
Inspections: Satori Group, Inc. offers Lead Based Paint (LBP) inspections to comply with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies. This inspection process requires a comprehensive review of building records and drawings combined with a thorough site inspection. Our LBP Inspectors utilize a Niton® XRF LBP analyzer during the inspection process to provide accurate and efficient data collection in accordance with HUD Guidelines. Our professional reports provide clients with specific details regarding the LBP in their facility with regulatory guidance and recommendations.
Lead Risk Assessments: Our EPA Certified Risk Assessors can review LBP inspection reports, determine the risk associated with the LBP in the facility, and provide a detailed report specifying regulatory guidelines, requirements, and options for the client. Our reports identify observed paint conditions, hazard potentials associated with LBP, photographic documentation and regulatory guidance with recommendations.
Soil sampling: Satori Group, Inc. provides on-site analysis of soil samples using the Niton XRF. This portable field instrument allows clients and contractors to monitor soil clean-up objectives while abatement activities occur.
Dust Wipes: Satori Group, Inc. can analyze lead dust wipes in the field using the Niton XRF. Utilizing on-site dust wipe analysis offers clients and contractors the ability to determine if lead dust clean-up objectives are being achieved or where "hot spots" remain.
Air sampling: Satori Group, Inc. provides NIOSH 7300 lead air monitoring services for lead abatement projects. Our on-site sampling provides clients with documented airborne lead concentrations to help alleviate potential environmental liabilities. We also provide expertise in monitoring abatement contractor compliance to insure building occupants or other trades are not exposed to elevated levels of airborne lead.
