Course Description:

Who should take Lead Safe Training Class? Anyone disturbing more than 6 sq. ft. (Interior) & 20 sq. ft. (Exterior) of painted surfaces in residential homes, apartments, and/or child care facilities and schools built before 1978. The Lead Based Paint Renovator course is 8 hours in length, and focuses on eight modules.


Topics of discussion include: \\\"Why Should I Be Concerned About Lead Paint?\\\", EPA regulations, preparation for work, containing dust during work, proper cleaning activities and evaluating the finished site. Also, record keeping and training of non-certified renovation workers are discussed.
