Course Description:

This course is required by the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) for accreditation as a Building Inspector. This three-day comprehensive course is designed to train students in the identification, inspection, sampling, and assessing asbestos containing materials (ACM) in buildings.



Students will also be taught how to prepare reports of findings. This class includes hands-on training for students to implement what they have learned with a mock inspection. This course complies with the EPA AHERA MAP for inspectors.
